Volunteering

As a small, non-profit community rowing club, we ask that each of our members support the club through volunteer service. Everyone has something to offer! Please contact the Club Co-Presidents to help with these tasks or if you have some other way you can support the club. Opportunities include:

  • Coaching
  • Coxing
  • Cleaning and repairing equipment
  • Maintaining our space at the boat yard
  • Rigging and repairing the boats at the start of the season
  • De-rigging and winterizing the boats at the end of the season
  • Fleet maintenance during the season
  • Painting oars
  • Researching and shopping for new equipment purchases
  • Assisting with communication/administrative tasks
  • Organizing social events
  • Serving as Club Ambassador to assist our newest members and prospective members
  • Serving as Membership Director
  • Serving on the Board of Directors
  • Marketing/Social Media/Media Outreach/PR services/Website maintenance
  • Learn-to-Row Clinic help
  • Regatta Coordination/Management
  • Bookkeeping/Tax services
  • Capital Campaign & Site Exploration Committee
  • Coordinate indoor rowing sessions from late November through CRASH B’s and our spring season.
